This past April 9th Jason and I renewed our wedding vows and had our dream wedding. It was a little cold and dreary but to us, it was perfect. We said our vows overlooking the Bull Run Mountains and danced the night away at our reception. We had an amazing photographer (Gabe Aceves) who captured every moment perfectly and we couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out! It was one of the best days of our life with our closest friends and family members. Here are a few of my favorite pictures of Jason and I.
There is also an amazing slideshow Gabe made of our wedding at http://gabeaceves.com/slideshows/mcdonough/ Turn up the volume because the music is fabulous!

Strawberry Picking
Yesturday my mom and I took Jack strawberry picking for the first time. Although, he is too young to really understand what is going on he enjoyed squeezing the stawberries and making a mess :) We tried to get him to taste one but he wanted nothing to do it with. We might have a picky eater on our hands :) It was an absolutely beautiful (maybe a little too hot) day. The stawberries looked an amazing and tasted fabulous! I enjoyed a few on my cereal this morning and with the rest I will be making a strawberry rhubarb crisp. (YUMM)

Walking to Mommy
It was an absolutely wonderful day and I can't wait till Jason can make it out one day with us :) The next time we go Jack will be walking and probably picking strawberries on his own. YAY

It Was a Busy Weekend
This past weekend was beyond full with activities. We usually try to only plan one major event per weekend however, there were so many great things going on that we packed them all in. About a month ago our good friend invited us to the Nationals v. Orioles game at Camden Yards with 5th row seats behind home plate. How can you pass up a baseball game with great friends? You can't :) Thanks Brian for inviting us!! :)
Before the baseball game we went to Wine in the Woods just 30 minutes South of Baltimore. It is a huge wine festival with lots of tasting and food & art vendors. We layed out our blankets on the lawn had a great picnic and fought the crowds as we walked around the park. We had no idea how jam packed the festival was going to be. Luckily, we dedcided not to buy tasting tickets because it would have been as waste of money. It would have taken 30 minutes just to get to the front of the tent to taste the wine (which was only a sip). The best bet when going to festival like this with so many people is to buy a bottle of wine and just park yourself somewhere. Although we had a great time, I can't imagine us fighting crowds like that again.

Jayson Werth..again. He waved in my direction after this picture. Am I sure it was at me? No. However, I like to think it was hah :)

Jason and I with my Mom and Jerry
Now, all of that happened on Saturday...I haven't even talked about Sunday and I'm already tired :) We got up Sunday and went over to Jason's mom's house so that she could spend some time with Jack. At around 3pm we went and dropped Jack off at my dads house because we had to head back up to Maryland for the Sugarland Concert. Before the concert I had never really listened to Sugarland. It was something my mom wanted to go to and we thought it would be fun. But, they put on an AMAZING show. It was probably one of the best concerts I have ever been to. We finally arrived back home around midnight and to say we were exhausted is an understatement but the weekend was wonderful!

Sick Baby :(
My poor baby was diagnosed with Hand, Mouth and Foot today :( For those who have never heard of this (me being one of them) it is a viral infection in babies where they develop ulcers on their hands, mouths and feet. It also causes extremely high fevers. Jack went down for his nap this morning around 8 am as ususal and slept for 3 hours which is very unusual. When he woke up he was extremely hot and not acting like himself. I called the doctor to make an appointment thinking he might have an ear infection. Unfortunately, it was a little worse. He had a 104 fever and ulcers in the back of his throat. NOT FUN :( We are now on Motrin, Tylenol and lots of rest.

10 Months
Jack,
You are a little over 10 months old. WOW! You are doing so many new things and every day is a new adventure with you. You haven't officially mastered the art of walking but you are so close! You continue to challenge yourself to take more steps and are using the couches as support less and less. You are talking up a storm! You can say mamama, dadada, babababa and ooo. Even though I know you have no idea what you are saying it puts the biggest smile on my face every time you say mamama. :) You have also started a horrible habit, screeching. You like screech at the top of your lungs for fun. I must admit at first it was very cute however, after a 6 hour car ride with you it wasn't so cute anymore. This new noise has also prevented us from going out to eat as often since you think that is the ideal place for this. We are also it the home stretch for your helmet! It will officially come off in 4 weeks and I am so excited to be able to cuddle with you and not get bumped in the face with that thing. Here are some pictures from the past few weeks that I love! :)
